حول الانباء بإنقطاع خدمة الاتصال لشركة ستارلينك بالسودان :
راج في عدد من وسائل الإعلام المحلية أنباء متضاربة حول فرض شركة (اسبيس إكس) المالكة لمشروع ستارلينك قيود على الخدمة *داخل السودان ضمن دول اخرى*
بعد إنقطاع شبكات الإتصال في أغلب مناطق السودان أضحت “ستارلنك” هي وسيلة الإتصال الوحيدة في تلك المناطق بالسودان لاسيما مناطق النزاع المسلح و أن توقف خدمة الاتصال أو إحتمالية فرض قيود عليها أو تأثرها سيؤدى إلى كارثة إنسانية ابرزها توقف التحويلات البنكية التي تعتبر الشريان الرئيسي لحياة المدنيين .
قمنا بمخاطبة الشركة المالكة ( اسبيس إكس ) مبينين الظروف و المخاطر التى ستترتب علي القرار و مطالبين باستثناء السودان من أي إجراءات متعلقة بـقطع الخدمة حفاظا على حياة الملايين من السودانيين و منوهين بحق الإتصال كواحد من الحقوق الإنسانية التي كفلتها مختلف التشريعات و المواثيق الدولية و منها الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان .

About the news of the impact of the satellite communication service (Starlink) in Sudan
There were conflicting reports in a number of local media outlets about SpaceX, the company that owns the Starlink project, imposing restrictions on the service inside Sudan or stopping it completely in a number of countries.
After the communication networks were cut off in most areas of Sudan, “Starlink” became the only means of communication in most areas of Sudan, especially the areas of active armed conflict. Stopping the service or the possibility of imposing restrictions on the service or affecting it will lead to a humanitarian catastrophe, especially if bank transfers, which are considered the main artery, stop. for the lives of civilians.
We addressed the owner company, explaining the circumstances and risks that the decision will entail, demanding that Sudan be excluded from any service-related procedures in order to preserve the lives of millions of Sudanese, and recalling the right to communication as one of the inherent human rights guaranteed by various international legislations and conventions, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
